PRE EXPANDED STATES PREPARATION

WHAT IS PREPARATION?

Just like you wouldn’t plan a vacation without making some preparations, before embarking on any expended state journey, it is best to make some preparations so that you can maximize the benefits of your work.  

Through a series of open ended questions and discussion, together we lay down and work on the foundation for an expanded state journey as well as set up an intention for the journey.  We bring up to the conscious mind those issues and parts of life that need attending to in a deliberate manner. 

Adequate preparation supports what we can get out of our experiences, both during and after expanded states, as well as aiding the integration of the expanded state work into our daily life.

POST EXPANDED STATES INTEGRATION

WHAT IS INTEGRATION? 

Any feelings, visions, sensations, and thoughts you had during and immediately after an expanded state experience serves as potent material to aid the process of self-growth and healing. Integration is about creating the space to make meaning of your expanded states experience(s) so that they can inform your daily functioning. In this way, post-expanded states integration support increases the impact towards personal transformation that working in expanded states offers. 

 WHO IS POST EXPANDED STATES INTEGRATION SUPPORT FOR? 

Some clients have undergone one or more expanded states journeys without the benefit of a guide, and may be left with questions, concerns, or they may simply need additional support to adequately integrate their learnings. Other times, a client has undertaken an expanded state journey with Michael Tierno and the client desires additional support to continue to unpack and fully integrate their experience to maximally reap the rewards of their journey.

One of the goals of most post-expanded states integration sessions is to provide the client with one or more “action items” or “homework assignments” that are co-created, together with the client, based on the content that was unearthed in the expanded state.  These assignments are intended to fully integrate the client’s expanded states experience into their regular lives.
